Post-jam Update
Hello everyone!
Firstly, a big thank you to everyone who played the game and left valuable feedback during the jam! I love to read feedback (even if it's negative) because this helps me shape the game into the best version it can possibly be.
Which leads me to the reason for this devlog: I've just finished work on a post-jam version that aims to fix some of the most glaring issues with the jam submission, as well as adding a couple new features and "nice-to-haves" that I simply did not have time to include during the initial 72-hour dev window.
Here is a brief breakdown on what was fixed/added:
- Added an end game. Beat 12 rounds to win the game!
- Restocking the store doubles in price with every purchase
- Increased the area that the dice can be thrown in slightly
- Added a stats screen (everyone loves stats)
- Reworked all of the items
- Added a hand limit, which can be increased in the store
- Prevented duplicate items from appearing in the store
- Polished UI timings + interactions
I hope you enjoy these changes, I do feel that the game is far more balanced now. Please do continue to leave your feedback and ideas, I will be collecting and referencing them while I work on expanding this game for a Steam release!
